Their old system had all that...

IMO the problems with the old system was not so software as simply not putting enough manpower into maintaining the database properly.

By that I mean closing out fixed bugs or bugs that new features/ versions made irrelevant, merging duplicate reports, etc. All of that is expensive to do and no software can change that. I think it's happening again in FogzBugs.

The only thing that can fix the real problem IMO a VERY strong commitment to quality and committing enough resources to ensure it...

Something to be fair, I don't think RS has been able to afford the cost of.
