Button Shape?

Apple Mail app has some nice buttons in a top tool bar.

Isolated buttons have round corners. Buttons adjacent to each other  
have straight edges where they abut with round corners at the end. Are  
these "Cocoa" features? Are they available, somehow, with current  
versions of RB (without declares)? If they are available, are these  
shapes cross platform?
