They use the system version, just as they use the IE engine on Windows
and Mozilla on Linux (when available).

For me? Nothing, I'm not really doing anything with HTMLViewer, just
providing what info I can. There was a discussion quite some time ago
about some of the omitted features, though I don't clearly recall the
details. I believe the history and/or cache was mentioned at the time.
