In the Menu Bar?

Can RB put icons/menu stuff in the global menu bar?

If you go into the System Preferences and click on, say, the Date&Time  
pref, you get a panel that has a check box that says "Show date and  
time in menu bar".
If you check this you get an entry or  icon in the menu bar with a  
pull down menu attached.
I've looked in the UG and LR and can't seem to figure how to do this  
for an RB app.
