So I'm in the final stages of wrapping up a project for a customer and they have started asking why they can't edit/create their own reports.

I put the visual report editor for rbrw on hold when RS announced their own engine.

The fact that a beta version of the visual editor has been shipped in 2009r3 suggests it is close but it could also just sit there for months without being worked on without negatively affecting the rest of the IDE. I suspect that RS are going to want it shipped as a major feature soon but you've got to wonder how work there is prioritised compared to Cocoa, which is now acknowledged as being late.

Hmm, maybe I should resume work on my editor!
