No, it's not BASIC

Don't let the word "basic" fool you. Realbasic is a modern, object-oriented language. If you are a C++ developer, you are going to feel right at home. Familiar concepts such as polymorphism, object references and exception handling are supported with clean, modern syntax. Realbasic allows only single inheritance (though multiple times like Java) and avoids the confusion that can result when a base class appears multiple times in the ancestry of a derived class.
