The first step in programming with Real Studio is to design the user interface. With Real Studio, this is as simple as point-and-click. As you work on your interface, you make your program unique; Real Studio does the hard work behind the scenes. Add functionality to your interface by typing in code snippets in the Code Editor.

Cross-platform that really works

Creating quality, cross-platform applications is easy with Real Studio. You write one application and compile native executables for three operating systems (Mac OS X, Windows and Linux). You don’t have to do anything other than click your mouse!

Real Studio comes with a remote debugger that lets you run your application on one computer and watch your code execute on another! The two do not even have to be running the same operating system. Imagine using Real Studio’s debugger on the Mac while your application is running on Windows. Is one of your customer’s experiencing a bug that you are not able to reproduce? Run your app on their computer while you debug on your own!

Is your code not running at top speed? Use the included Profiler to track down performance bottlenecks, they may not be where you think they are. Because the Profiler is integrated right into the IDE, it couldn’t be easier to use!

Learn by example

Real Studio includes hundreds of example projects to reference. And the Tutorial and QuickStart Guide walk you through creating real-world applications and familiarizing yourself with the Real Studio tools and commands. When you have specific questions join our User Forums and get tips from the experts.

While working in Real Studio you will have access to the Documentation Wiki that includes the suite of documentation, like the User’s Guide and Language Reference. Integrated into the IDE you will find a powerful, fully searchable online reference that provides instant access to details and examples on every keyword and framework class.
