How do I qualify for an academic discount? Real Software offers a discount to students, teachers, faculty and staff of accredited schools, colleges and universities. In order to qualify for the discount you must provide proof of your academic status. If you order online and provide a .edu or .k12 email address your status will be automatically approved. Alternatively, you can fax proof of status such as a student ID, report card, enrollment confirmation, or other official proof to (512) 328-7372. Please note that the academic license includes restrictions not found in the commercial (non-academic) license.
What is the difference between the Academic and Commerical licenses? The Academic license restricts you from using Real Studio for any revenue generating activity, including selling your software or charging a consulting fee. The Commercial license does not include this restriction. If you have an Academic license, you can always remove this restriction by upgrading to a Commercial license for the difference in price.
When will the next version ship? Real Software does not provide specific ship dates in advance for upcoming releases. However, Real Studio is on a Rapid Release schedule and new versions ship within 90 days.
How do I return my purchase? All software purchased from the Real Software online store is covered by a 90-day money back guarantee. If you would like to return something during this 90-day period, please contact Customer Service.
I have an activation code... what do I do with it? If you have a six-letter activation code, you can turn it into a license key via the activation form.
