How do you get Real Studio Web Edition? Real Studio Web Edition is sold as a separate edition of Real Studio for $599 or is included as a feature of the Enterprise Edition.
What browsers does Web Edition run on? FireFox, Chrome, Safari, IE7 and above, and IE6 with the Chrome Frame extension.
What are the requirements for deployment? Apache or IIS. You can deploy your web app as a stand-alone application or as a FastCGI or CGI running under Apache or CGI under IIS. There are different reasons to deploy your app as one type or the other. See "Building Stand-Alone Applications" in the User's Guide.

Can you share code between Real Studio desktop and web? Yes, you can share a lot of the code between desktop and web. The only code that definitely won't work is code that talks directly to interface controls as the classes, while they appear to be nearly the same, they are different classes. Does Web Edition support RBScript? Yes, RBScript is supported in Web Edition. Just remember that your RBScript is going to run on the server, not the client.
Is JQuery supported in Real Studio Web Edition? Web Edition and JQuery are not compatible. They both are both JavaScript frameworks and thus install event handlers and such that would conflict with each other so JQuery can not be used with Web Edition applications.
Are compiled web applications binaries? Yes, compiled applications compile to machine code just like they do on the desktop.
Are there any royalties associated with deploying my web application? No. They are yours to sell and you will never pay any royalties to Real Software.
